Es gab im 18. Jh. einen reitenden Förster zu Lauenstein mit dem oben erwähnten Namen. Pattengen als Ort gibt es nicht, jedoch existiert ein Dorf Pattensen (Nahe Hannover), welches etwa 30 km von Lauenstein entfernt liegt.
