- Sehr schönes, komplettes Exemplar der Erstausgabe von Gessners Thierbuch in einem modernen, gepflegten Lederband, mit der kompletten Folge von 149 Textholzschnitten in einem kräftigen Kolorit der Zeit. Trotz einiger Mängel - die ersten ca. 80 Seiten wasserrandig am unteren Rand, diverse Randeinrisse, die tls. fachmännisch, tls. einfacher repariert sind - ein gut erhaltenes Exemplar mit kolorierten Illustrationen, das in dieser Qualität äusserst selten angeboten wird.
