Eine vergleichbare Darstellung von Fischen Fardellas findet sich in Salerno, Luigi, La natura morta italiana, 1560 – 1805, Rom, 1984, S. 278, fig. 77.1, von 1684, heute im Palazzo Pitti. Auch die Früchte in den beiden Tondi Fardellas stehen stilistisch dem hier angebotenen Stillleben nahe, cf. Salerno, S. 279, fig. 77.2, heute ebenfalls im Palazzo Pitti.
