Die Ceylon-Bleiwurz (Chitrak) wird traditionell sowohl in der Ayurveda als auch bei anderen natürlichen Heilmethoden verschiedener Naturvölker (Massai) benutzt.
Provenienz:
Angeblich gemalt im Auftrag der Kaiserin Joséphine und sollte sich später in der Bibliothek ihres Sohnes Eugène de Beauharnais, Hzg. v. Leuchtenberg (1781-1824) befinden.
