Christoph Steiger II. (1694 – 1765), diente als Offizier in den Niederlanden, ab 1727 Grossrat, 1733 Rathausammann, 1737 Heimlicher von Burgern und ab 1738 im Kleinen Rat. 1740/47 Welschseckelmeister und 1747/59 Schultheiss von Bern (1754/59 alternierend mit J.A. Tillier).
