Strickende Frau am Strand. 1899. Öl auf Karton montiert auf Holz. Unten links monogrammiert und datiert MA 99(?). 32,3x24,4 cm.
Es handelt sich wohl um eine Studie zum Gemälde "A fisherman and his wife on the beach, sunset" von 1919, das am 28.11.2017 unter Lot-Nr. 57 bei Bruun Rasmussen verkauft wurde. Es gibt noch zwei weitere Versionen der am Strand sitzenden und strickenden Fischersfrau mit schwarzem Kopftuch, die eine, "Fisherman's wife knitting on Skagen beach" von 1900, wurde verkauft bei Bruun Rasmussen am 30.05.2017 unter Lot 29, die andere bei Kunsthallen Kunstauktioner am 14.02.1996 unter Lot 139.
