Die Zuschreibung an Scipione Pulzone und die Identifizierung des Modells als Bianca Capello, Grossherzogin von Toskana, wurde von Prof. Filippo Todini für die Katalogisierung des Werkes in der Auktion 2009 im Dorotheum vorgeschlagen.
