"Römische Ansichten". Folge von 19 (von 20) Radierungen, 1810. Je ca. 15x21 cm. Alle Bll. gerahmt.
- Es fehlt die Nr. 1 der Folge. - Teilweise minimal stockfleckig. Dreiseitig bis auf den Plattenrand beschnitten. Die Unterränder teilweise bis knapp in die Schrift beschnitten, angerändert und die Schrift ergänzt.
Die für den Verkauf bestimmte Folge stellt Gegenden aus Rom und dessen Umgebung dar. Ursprünglich hatte der Künstler vor, die Folge über die 20 Blatt hinaus auszudehnen. Wegen fehlender Kupferplatten wurde das Projekt jedoch mit der Vollendung der zwanzigsten Platte eingestellt. Die "Römischen Ansichten" sind die letzten druckgraphischen Arbeiten des Künstlers, der sich fortan nur noch der Ölmalerei widmete.
