Provenienz: Ende der 1970er Jahren direkt bei der Künstlerin erworben.
Die Grosseltern und Eltern des heutigen Besitzers haben bis Anfang der 1960er Jahre in Ägypten gelebt. Sie lernten Tahia Halim und ihren Ehemann Hamed Abdallah 1953 kennen und blieben ihnen zu Lebzeiten freundschaftlich verbunden.
