1100. Antikes Email-Edelstein-Diadem
Um 1880. Aussergewöhnliche und hochwertige Arbeit im ägyptischen Revival-Stil in 18-karätigem Gelbgold. Halbkreisförmiger, massiver Reif, verziert mit polychromem Email. Fünf aufgerichtete Kobraschlangen-Paare, die den Uräus symbolisieren, das altägyptische Schutzsymbol der Pharaonen. Zwischen den Schlangen ist jeweils ein Edelstein-Cabochon aus Malachit, Bänderachat, Nephrit und Smaragd in den Grössen 24x18, 18x13 bzw. 14x10 mm gefasst. Seitlich der Schlangenmotive verzieren grün emaillierte Lotusblüten das Diadem. An den Enden befindet sich jeweils eine emaillierte Lotusblüte. Die Zierelemente sind rückseitig vernietet. 15x15 cm. Höhe der Schauseite von 2,5–4,5 cm. 122 g.
