Augsburger Schule. Ende 18.Jh. Polychrome Malerei hinter Glas. Szenen aus der Josephslegende: (1) Joseph wird von seinen Brüdern für 20 Silberlinge an die Karawane der Ismaeliten nach Ägypten verkauft, wo er in Potiphars Diensten steht. (2) Potiphars Frau will Joseph verführen, er aber flieht. (3) Da sie ihn verleumdet, wird Joseph ins Gefängnis geworfen, wo er die Träume seiner Mithäftlinge deutet. (4) Als Josephs Brüder nach Ägypten kommen, prüft er sie und offenbart sich ihnen schliesslich. Je 19,5x25,5 cm. Originalrahmen mit Spiegelauflagen.
