Portrait der Maria Fjodorowna (1754–1828), Grossfürstin (ab 1797 Kaiserin) von Russland (zweite Frau von Paul I). Aquarell auf Velinpapier, um 1830/40, bezeichnet auf dem Vasensockel "Lampi". 56,5x41,5 cm. Gerahmt. - Mit kleineren Farbausbrüchen an den Rändern, sonst tadellos erhalten.
Anonyme, um einige Jahrzehnte jüngere Kopie des in seiner Zeit offenbar sehr geschätzten Portraits der späteren Kaiserin an ihrem Malpult im Garten ihrer Residenz. Joh. Bapt. Lampi, der von den höchsten europäischen Adelskreisen geschätzte und gesuchte Portraitist hielt sich 1791–1797 in St. Petersburg auf und porträtierte die ganze kaiserliche Familie Katharinas der Grossen, u. a. mehrmals auch die spätere Kaiserin. Sein 1795 entstandenes Portrait befindet sich heute noch in der ehemaligen kaiserlichen Sommerresidenz (und nachherigem Wittwensitz von Maria Fjodorowna) im Schloss Pavlovsk in St. Petersburg. Nach seiner Rückkehr nach Wien wurde Lampi 1798 als "Edler von Lampi" in den Reichsritterstand erhoben.
