Ende 19. Jh./um 1900. Auf rechteckiger Porzellanplatte polychrom gemaltes Porträt der Philippine Welser nach Kaulbach. In vergoldetem Holzrahmen. Bezeichnet: Zeptermarke mit "KPM", Klebeetikett mit der Aufschrift "Kunstinstitut für Porzellan-Malerei Merkel-Heine Wiesbaden". Plakette (ohne Rahmen): 24,5x16 cm.
Philippine Welser (Augsburg 1527–1580 Schloss Ambras/Innsbruck) ist eine Augsburger Patriziertochter und die Frau von Erzherzog II von Habsburg, Landesfürst von Tirol.
