Chur, 1.Hälfte 19.Jh. Zinn. Marken des Johann Jakob Ulrich Bauer (1781–1850). Sechsseitig. Ringhenkel mit Schraubverschluss. Profilierter Bodenrand. Typisches Schild der Familie Bauer mit spitzem Aufsatz. Eingravierte Initialen "S T" und Jahreszahl "1874". Vorn feine Gravuren, wohl von Mathäus Bauer (1782–1840) ausgeführt. Weinranken mit Trauben. H 37 cm.

Die Marken befinden sich auf dem Ausgussdeckel (1x) und im Bodeninneren (3x).
Johann Jakob Ulrich Bauer arbeitete oft mit seinem Bruder Mathäus (1782–1840) zusammen. Der gelernte Goldschmied übte seinen Beruf in der Zinngiesserfamilienwerkstatt aus und war bekannt für die hochstehende Qualität seiner Gravuren.
