S-Iran, um 1900. Fein geknüpfter Teppich. Das florale Mittelfeld ist mit Porträt-Kartuschen besetzt. Unter einer Gebetsnische (Mihrab) steht im Zentrum die Jungfrau Maria mit dem Jesuskind im Arm, das in der einen Hand ein Kreuz hält. Die reiche florale Bordüre ist ebenfalls mit Porträt-Kartuschen überzogen, dazu 2 rote breite Borten. Fleckig, ansonsten gute Erhaltung. 134x250 cm (ft. 4.4x8.3).
