1023. Lokeshvara Simhanada

Nepal/Tibet, datiert 1599, aber später. Feuervergoldete Kupferlegierung, teilweise bemalt. Bodhisattva in Lila asana sitzend auf einem Löwen, der auf einem Lotossockel rastet. Die Figur hält eine Gebetskette und Lotosblumen in den Händen, er trägt grosse Ring-Ohrringe und sein hochgebundendes Haar ist mit Kopfschmuck verziert. Die Rückseite des Lotossockels ist graviert mit Inschrift in Prachalit Newari: "Im Jahr 719 Nepal Sambat (1599) bringen der Vater Dish Raj Shakya und sein Sohn Padma Raj Shakya den Simbha Bahan Lokeshvara am Lhhutti Purni (Tag des Vollmondes) als Opfergabe dar". Ohne Verschluss. Berieben. H 25 cm.
