2336. Louis Vuitton, "Malle à Chapeaux" um 1920.
Damen-Hutkoffer. Gedrucktes Monogram Canvas. Kanten mit Lederbesätzen und Ecken mit Metall verstärkt. Deckel und Boden mit Holzverstärkungen. Traggriffe an den Seiten. S-Schloss mit zwei Schlüsseln (später) und zwei Schnappverschlüsse. In Gelb und Schwarz monogrammiert "D.J.N." und unterhalb in Rot Reste eines alten Monogramms "H. ... S.". Innen: Grosser herausnehmbarer Korb. Im Deckel genietetes Diamantenmuster. 60x54x47 cm. Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren.
Mit Restaurierungsbericht von 2012. Die Truhe wurde gereinigt und die braune Farbe, welche das Monogram Canvas bedeckte, entfernt. Während dieser Restaurierungsarbeit sind ebenfalls die in Rot bemalten ersten Besitzerinitialen hervorgekommen.
