Chur, 1.Hälfte 19.Jh. Zinn. Marke und Bodenrosette des Johann Jakob Ulrich Bauer (1781–1850). Sechsseitig. Ringhenkel mit Schraubverschluss. Profilierter Bodenrand. Typisches Schild der Familie Bauer, später graviert "Von deinen Churer Freunden". H 34 cm.
- Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren. Ringhenkel gedellt. Reparaturstelle an der Schulter.

Johann Jakob Ulrich Bauer war neben Heinrich Wilhelm Lange der letzte Zinngiesser von Chur. Er ging bei seinem Vater Mathäus II. Bauer in die Lehre. 1820 wurde er Zunftmeister, 1822 Ratsherr und 1825 Oberzunftmeister. (Lit.: Duri Vital, Die Churer Zinngiesser, Chur/Basel, 1979, S. 100 ff.).
