NW-Persien, um 1900. Sehr ausgefallene Musterung. Oben und unten figurieren Kartuschen, gefüllt mit persischen Gedichten. Im gelbem Mittelfeld bilden 2 mächtige Säulen eine Gebetsnische (Mihrab), darunter liegt ein Lebensbaum, umgeben von Zweigen, Blüten, und Blattranken. Ein Kamm, als Symbol der Reinheit und ein aussergewöhnliches Paar Hände (Fatima) am oberen Teil des Baumes komplettieren das Dekor. 2 Rosettenborten und 2 reziproke Medachylborten säumen die weisse Palmetten- und Blattranken-Bordüre. Sehr gute Erhaltung. 120x170 cm (ft. 4x5.6).
