933. Yarkand-Seide
O-Turkestan, um 1850. Flormaterial reine Seide. Granatapfelbäume, die durch geometrische Blätterranken miteinander verbunden sind, zieren das nachtblaue Innenfeld. Das sich über den gesamten Grund erstreckende Motiv entspringt in je zwei kleinen Vasen, die oben und unten an den Schmalseiten zu sehen sind. Die breite rote Innenbordüre ist mit Swastikas belegt und wird von Mäanderborten gesäumt. Alte reparierte Stelle, Riss in der Bordüre, flächendeckende Gebrauchsspuren. 194x375 cm (ft. 6.4x12.4).
