Frankreich, um 1940. Wunderschön von Hand gefertigtes Flachgewebe von den Gebrüdern Pinton, nachgeknüpft in Anlehnung an das berühmte Original aus dem 16. Jh. mit dem Titel: "Die Dame mit dem Einhorn", das im Pariser Musée national du Moyen Âge hängt. Zu sehen ist auf rotem Grund eine Adlige, mit einem Einhorn zu ihrer linken und einem Löwen zu ihrer rechten Seite, flankiert von einer filigranen Mille-fleurs-Musterung. Dieses Werk steht symbolisch für den Geschmackssinn: Eine Dienerin reicht der Dame ein Dragee, für den auf ihrer Hand sitzenden Papageien. Sehr guter Zustand. 157x194 cm (ft. 5.2x6.4).
