S-Persien, um 1880. Figuraler Teppich. Das helle Innenfeld ist durchgehend mit tiefblauen Baldachinen belegt, unter denen sich 2 Männer unterhalten, während 2 Frauen das Essen zubereiten. Die Szene spielt auf dem Lande und wird in mehreren Reihen wiederholt, mal gespiegelt, mal in ihrer ursprünglichen Form. 3 filigran gearbeitete blütenbelegte Innenborten grenzen an die ebenfalls helle, mit Menschen und Tieren dekorativ belegte Hauptbordüre, an deren Rande wiederum 3 breite florale Aussenborten den gelungenen Abschluss des Teppichs bilden. Starke Gebrauchsspuren. 392x525 cm (ft. 12.9x17.3).
