Indien, 20.Jh. Elfenbein mit Metallzierrat, besetzt mit Schmucksteinen, u.a. Smaragd, Rubin, Saphir, Koralle, Mondstein und Chrysoberyll. Elefant mit reich geschmückter Schabracke und Sänfte auf dem Rücken tragend, darin ein Maharaja mit Elefantenführer. Das Tier steht auf einer elaborierten Elfenbeinplattform mit durchbrochen gearbeiteter Balustrade und plastischen Elefantenfüssen. H 22 cm. - Risse, Fehlstellen.
