Kuverts) an den Musikkritiker und Verleger Otto Lessmann (1844-1918) in Berlin (dat. Kiel, 7. 6. 1898 und Bad Kreuth, 27. 8. 1905) und eh. Postkarte an O. Lessmann, dat. (München) 17. 4. 1917. Weingartner, ein Schüler von F. Liszt, wurde 1908 Nachfolger von G. Mahler als Direktor der Wiener Hofoper und nach den Engagements bei der Wiener Volksoper (1919-1914) und bei diversen Musikensembles in Basel wurde er 1935 wiederum nach Wien zur Staatsoper berufen.
