Gegenstücke. Portraits von Joseph von Utzschneider und seiner Frau. 2 Aquarelle. Je ca. 15,5x13 cm. Unter Glas auf Holz montiert und gerahmt.- Rückseitig mit je einer Etikette mit ausführlichen biographischen Daten.

Joseph von Utzschneider (1763-1840), in den Jahren 1818-1823 zweiter Bürgermeister von München, gründete eine Reihe von Unternehmen, darunter das seit 1809 bestehende Mathematisch-Feinmechanische Institut, welches fast ganz Europa mit Teleskopen und anderen Instrumenten belieferte. Seine Frau Amalie geb. Walch (1758-1842) liegt im gleichen Grab auf dem Alten Südlichen Friedhof in München.
