Die Schweiz in ihren Ritterburgen und Bergschlössern, historisch dargestellt von vaterländischen Schriftstellern. Mit einer historischen Einleitung von Professor J. J. Hottinger in Zürich. Mit total 21 gestochenen bzw. lithogr. Tafeln (inkl. der 3 Frontis.), lithogr. und gestochen von Ochs, Iselin, Hegi u.a. Chur, Dalp 1839. Bd I und II in zweiter, vermehrter Aufl, Bd III in erster Aufl. Marmorierte Pp.-Bde. der Zeit mit hs. Rückentiteln. - Teilweise etwas gebräunt und stockfleckig, Bd 3 frisch erhalten. Mit hs Verzeichnis der Tafeln auf dem Vorsatz.
Lonchamp 2674, Barth 17432. - Die einzelnen Kapitel wurden von bedeutenden Geschichtsforschern beschrieben, so z.B.: M. Lutz, J.A. Pupikofer, H. Escher, C. Burgener, J.E. Mörikofer.
