NW-Persien, um 1970. Sehr feine Knüpfung. Ein fein gezeichnetes Konturband teilt das Innenfeld in 4 Felder, die aus verschiedenen alten persischen Geschichten erzählen. Im Zentrum ist eine Bildkartusche des grossen Wesirs Amir Kabir dargestellt. Die breite Bordüre ist wiederum mit Geschichten verziert und die 4 Ecken sind mit Porträts von grossen persischen Dichtern belegt. Sehr gute Erhaltung. 180x195 cm (ft. 5.9x6.4).
