Phantasielandschaft, aus verschiedenen, dem Maler wohl schon bekannten Ansichten: Der Gasthof aus dem engeren, evtl. auch westlichen Berner-Oberland, die Pferdetransportszene von der Wengernalp und die Gletscherlandschaft aus dem "Plaine Morte" im Obersimmental, oder allenfalls dem oberen, flachen Gebiet des Rhonegletschers.
