Vertida è stampada avant temp in Lingua Romanscha d'Engadina Bassa…da Jacobo Antonio Vulpio…& Jacobo Dorta à Vulpera… La II. Editiun. Stampada in Scuol Tras Jacobo N. Gadina, & Jacobo M. Wilhelm Rauch, 1743 [-1745]. Fol. Schöner blindgeprägter Lederband der Zeit über Holzdeckeln (Einband berieben). Schönes, teils minimal fleckiges Exemplar.
Bibliografia Retorumantscha 502. - Zweite Ausgabe der ersten vollständigen Bibelübersetzung in die rätoromanischer Sprache, dem Dialekt des Unterengadins, welche für die Bevölkerung und die Sprache eine ähnliche Bedeutung wie Luthers Übersetzung für die Deutschen hatte. Die erste Ausgabe war bereit 1679 erschienen (mit rotem Titelblatt); die vorliegende Titelbordüre stammt aus dieser Ausgabe. Vorausgegangen waren nur Übersetzungen einzelner Bücher wie Genesis etc. Übersetzer waren Jacob Anton Vulpius, Pfarrer in Fetan u. später in Tusan (Thusis) u. Jacon Dorta, Pfarrer in Fetan u. Scuol.
