Das hier angebotene Gemälde ist ein Werk des Kleinfigurenmalers Louis de Caullery in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Waldmaler Abraham Govaerts. Links am Waldrand sitzt die rastende Heilige Familie auf der Flucht nach Ägypten. Die weiss gehöhten, farbigen Kostüme, die leuchtend rote Schärpe, der zart grau-lila, eng anliegende Wams über grün changierendem Rock und das mit Malgold reich verzierte Gewand des Engels bei Maria erklären Caullerys Beinamen "Colori" bestens. Typisch für Govaerts' Landschaftsgrund ist hier seine bekannte, Brueghel-nahe Farbigkeit und Komposition sowie seine Technik, die Rindenstruktur des Baums darzustellen.
