525. Grosse Prismenkanne
Chur, 1.Hälfte 19.Jh. Zinn. Marke des Johann Jakob Ulrich Bauer (1781–1850). Sechsseitig. Ringhenkel mit Schraubverschluss. Profilierter Bodenrand. Typisches Schild der Familie Bauer, der spitze Aufsatz über die Kante der Seitenwand gezogen. Eingravierte Initialen "HL K" und Jahreszahl "1714". Vorn feine florale Gravuren, wohl von Mathäus Bauer (1782–1840) ausgeführt. H 35 cm.
- Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren. Kleine Reparaturstelle (Deckel).

Johann Jakob Ulrich Bauer arbeitete oft mit seinem Bruder Mathäus (1782–1840) zusammen. Der gelernte Goldschmied übte seinen Beruf in der Zinngiesserfamilienwerkstatt aus und war bekannt für die hochstehende Qualität seiner Gravuren.
