720. Geburt Christi mit Silberbasma
Russisch, 18.Jh. (1) Ikone. Tempera über Kreidegrund auf Holz. Im Zentrum die in einer Höhle sitzende Gottesmutter mit dem Kind in der Krippe. Flankiert von den Drei Weisen aus dem Morgenland (links) bzw. der Verkündigung an die Hirten (rechts). Im unteren Bildfeld 2 Szenen. Der Teufel erscheint dem Hl. Joseph in Gestalt eines alten Hirten (links). Eine Hebamme bereitet mit einer Magd das Badewasser für das Neugeborene (rechts). (2) Basma. Dünne Silberbleche, Reste einer Vergoldung. Ohne Punzen. Reliefierter Rankendekor. Himmelsgrund später mit hauchdünnem (Silber?-)Blech belegt. Gravierter und punzierter Ornamentaldekor. Nimben der Gottesmutter und Josephs ergänzt. Messing, Spuren einer Versilberung. 30,5x26,5 cm.
- Kleine Schad- und Fehlstellen. Restaurierungen und Retouchen, v.a. im unteren Bildfeld.
