717. Geburt der Maria mit versilbertem Oklad
Russisch, 19.Jh. (1) Ikone. Tempera über Kreidegrund auf Holz. Im Bildfeld Architekturkulisse mit 4 Arkaden. Im Zentrum Szene der Geburt der Maria, darunter bereitet eine Amme das Bad für die Neugeborene. Links Begegnung von Joachim und Anna an der Goldenen Pforte. Rechts Joachim und Anna mit Maria, auf reich verzierter Bank sitzend. In den oberen Zwickeln Joachim (links) bzw. Anna (rechts), beiden wird die Geburt Mariens angekündigt. In der Mitte des oberen Bildrands Gottvater auf Wolkenband. (2) Oklad. Metall, versilbert. Fein graviert, punziert und reliefiert. Umrandung mit floralen Motiven. Rückseitig (später) mit rotem Stoff beklebt. 32,5x27 cm.
