Mitteleuropa, im Stil des frühen 16. Jh., wohl Arbeit des 19. Jh. Aus drei Teilen (Kalotte, Vorderseite, Rückseite) mit grossen Rundkopfnieten zusammengesetzt. Ehemals blank polierte Oberfläche mit deutlichen Alterungs- und "Gebrauchsspuren". Im Brustbereich drei Durchbrechungen zur Befestigung an der Brustplatte. Die zu vermutenden Entsprechungen im Nackenbereich sind ausgerissen. Der Mittelgrat ist unterhalb des schmalen Sehschlitzes beschädigt und auf einer Länge von 10 cm aufgerissen. H ca. 47 cm, G ca. 5 kg. Beeindruckende und stilsichere Plattnerarbeit.
