Gegenstücke: Portrait eines Mannes im Alter von 80 / Portrait einer Dame im Alter von 59 Jahren. Öl auf Leinwand. Oben rechts bzw. links bezeichnet. 107x88 cm bzw. 107,5x89 cm.
Provenienz: Schloss Dardagny (Châteauvieux), Genf, durch Erbschaft in heutigen Westschweizer Privatbesitz.
Diese Gemälde sind im RKD unter den Nummern 97424 und 97425 registriert.
Die Bezeichnung auf der Plakette des (neueren) Rahmens "Anne Cornelie Sgraaweght, née Both par Ravenstyn" und "Jacob Sgraaweght par Ravenstyn" bezieht sich wohl eher auf die Familie von Jacobus s'Graefwegh und Anna Cornelia Both aus Rotterdam als die Vorbesitzer der beiden Portraits. Diese lebten im 18.Jh. und sind höchstwahrscheinlich entfernte Vorfahren der heutigen Besitzer. Die Zuschreibung an den Künstler Jan Anthonisz. van Ravesteyn kann nicht aufrechterhalten werden.
