552. Wappenscheibe "Locher"
Zürich, 1667, aus der Kirche von Otelfingen/ZH. Farblose und polychrome Hüttengläser, dunkelrote Überfanggläser, Schwarzlot, Silbergelb und blaue Schmelzfarbe. In Bleifassung. Unter Arkade behelmtes Wappen der Locher, bekrönt von Männerfigur mit Lanze. Inschrift unten abgeschnitten. In Metallrahmen. 50x45,5 cm.
- Altersspuren. Sprungbleie und geklebte Sprünge.
Die Scheibe gehört stilistisch zu einem Zyklus in der Kirche von Otelfingen/ZH, der 1667 von Zürcher Familien gestiftet wurde. Zwei Scheiben mit den Wappen und Namen der Familien Grebel, Trüb und Waser befinden sich im Schweizerischen Nationalmuseum in Zürich.
Als Stifter kommen Hans Konrad Locher (1619–1690) in Betracht, Tuchherr, 1678 Zeugherr, 1683 Kornmeister und ab 1674 Obervogt zu Birmensdorf; oder Hans Jakob Locher (1630–1691), Handelsherr, des Rats 1680 und ab 1680 Obervogt zu Wollishofen.
