920. Täbris-Bildteppich
NW-Persien, um 1960. Extrafeine Knüpfung. Sog. "Vierjahreszeiten-Musterung" (50 Raj). Sehr ausgefallenes Dekor. In der Mitte des Feldes bilden die 12 Tierkreiszeichen ein kreisrundes Kartuschen-Medaillon, das im Inneren mit einer Szene aus einem Gedicht des persischen Dichters Omar Khayyam geschmückt ist. Ein kreuzförmig angelegtes Blütenband teilt den Innenbereich in 4 Felder, die je mit einem historischen persischen Bauwerk belegt sind und im Weiteren Bauern bei der Arbeit zeigen. Die mittelblaue Hauptbordüre ist auf beiden Seiten mit Säulen geschmückt, die in der Mitte je das Porträt eines Königs tragen. Der obere und untere Teil ist mit Ornamenten aus Persepolis verziert, sowie mit Kartuschen, die mit Dichtern und Königen belegt sind. Sehr gute Erhaltung. 197x300 cm (ft. 6.5x9.9).
