Schweiz, 15. Jh. Bodenfund, elektrolytisch gereinigt und stabil, ohne aktive Korrosion. Stark korr. Oktogonallauf (L 111 cm), Kal. 26 mm, mit abgesetztem, achtfach facettiertem Mündungsbereich. Zündpfanne separat angeschweisst und durch die Bodenlagerung teilweise abgelöst. Der Zündkanal dürfte ursprünglich einen Durchmesser von ca. 8 mm gehabt haben. Der unter dem Lauf angeschweisste Haken zum Abfangen des Rückstosses an einer Mauerkrone ist in seinem Umriss noch weitgehend zu erkennen. Am Stossboden ist zentral eine massive, 20 cm lange, gerade Laufangel von ursprünglich wohl rundem Querschnitt angebracht. Das anhängende Etikett ist beschriftet wie folgt: "Bodenfund - wahrscheinlich im ehemaligen Burggraben der Ruine Gilgen-Berg (Lilie im Wappen = Gilgen) zwischen Nunningen und Ramstein ausgegraben in den 50-er Jahren (1950)". L 132 cm.
Frühe, seltene und somit bedeutende Schweizer Feuerwaffe.
