1019. Helm, Mantelhelm
Süddeutschland, um 1520-1540, wohl im 19. Jh. überarbeitet. Einteilig geschlagene Glocke mit geschnürltem Kamm, Nestellöchern, Halsreifen und zwei Nackenschüben. Aufschlächtiges Kinnreff mit Federbolzen rechts und Blasebalgvisier; letzteres mit gravierten Zierlinien und geschnürlter Kante vor den Sehschlitzen. Kinnreff und Visier wohl im 19. Jh. mittels Nieten und Unterlegscheiben aus Kupfer neu fixiert. Vorne am Halsreifen ein grob graviertes "H". Futternieten aussen mit Messingköpfen, innen mit Resten der ursprünglichen Belederung. Innenseite mit Hammerspuren und schwärzlicher Edelrostpatina unter leichtem Flugrost. H 31 cm, G 2640 g.
Für die ersten Jahrzehnte des 16. Jh. charakteristischer Helmtyp, wie er bspw. im "Theuerdank" und zahlreichen Chroniken aus der Zeit abgebildet ist.
