3711. Congreve Kugeluhr
England, Mitte 20.Jh. Nach der 1808 von William Congreve erfundenen "Rolling Ball Clock". Skelettiertes Messingwerk mit Federaufzug über Stahlseil und Schnecke mit Kraftübertragung zur Umkehrung der Kugellaufrichtung, die anstelle eines Pendels die Uhr reguliert. Kugel mit 30 Sekunden Lauflänge, am Ende der Strecke Hebelauslösung zum Kippen der Laufbahn. Drei weiss emaillierte Zifferringe mit arabischen Zahlen zur Anzeige der Stunden, Minuten und Sekunden. Stahlzeiger. Holzsockel mit Messingfüsschen. Originale, allseitig verglaste Vitrine mit Messingeinfassung und frontalem Türchen. Schlüssel und Kugeln vorhanden. Funktion nicht geprüft. 42x40x49 cm.
