Wohl Frankreich, um 1750. An einem Fluss, inmitten einer wunderschönen, floralbesetzten Landschaft, sitzt ein Jüngling und versucht sein Glück beim Angeln, zudem ist im Hintergrund eine Burg sichtbar. Die Szenerie wird von einer mittelblauen, mit Blattranken und Blüten reziprok belegten Bordüre gesäumt, die einen dekorativen farblichen Kontrast zum Innenfeld bildet. Alte Reparaturen. Minimale Gebrauchsspuren. 208x238 cm (ft. 6.9x7.9).
