1011. Schwert, Zweihänder
Im süddeutschen Stil der 2. Hälfte des 16. Jh., wohl unter Verwendung von originalen Gefässteilen gefertigt. Kreuzgefäss aus dunkel patiniertem Eisen mit 10-fach facettiertem Birnknauf, dessen Oberseite mit Mondsichel- und Punktmustern punziert ist. Parierstange mit ortwärts gebogenen - en suite punzierten - Armen, deren Enden eingerollt sind. Die Spiralzier, sowie die Lilienmotive innerhalb der beiden Parierringe deuten auf eine der süddeutschen Werkstätten, in denen Klingen der Münchner Schmiededynastie Stantler gefasst worden sind. Durch drei Nodi gegliederte Hilze mit rezenter Schnurwicklung und Lederbespannung. Geflammte zweischneidige Klinge (L 122 cm), wohl 20. Jh., mit 27 cm langer Fehlschärfe; Letztere mit Parierhaken und undeutlichem Markenrest. Spitze leicht verschliffen. L 168 cm, G 3670 g.
