616. Jagdspiess, Saufeder
Schweiz, Süddeutschland, 1. Hälfte 16. Jh. Eisen (L 34 cm) mit abgesetzter, blattförmiger und 18,3 cm langer Spitze von rautenförmigem Querschnitt. Darauf jeweils links eine quer geschlagene Hirschkopf(?)-Marke. Exakt zugeschliffene Tülle von hexagonalem Querschnitt mit zwei schmalen, zusätzlichen Facetten ("Spiegel"). Durch die Tülle ist ein Vierkant mit facettiertem Kugelknauf gesteckt, an dem der en suite gestaltete Knebel befestigt ist. Mit Ziernägeln aus Eisen beschlagener Schaft mit Resten der rautenförmig angebrachten Lederbespannung, bei dem es sich angesichts der guten Erhaltung des Spiesseisens um den Originalschaft handeln dürfte. L 191,5 cm.
Besonders der aufwändige Schliff der Tülle inklusive "Spiegel", sowie die Gestaltung des Knebels in Balusterform veranschaulichen den Prestigewert dieser renaissancezeitlichen Jagdwaffe.
