Paris, 1960er Jahre. Signiert und nummeriert "Hermes Paris 87812". Ankerkette in geflochtenem Muster mit Knebelverschluss. Rautenförmige Herstellermarke des Hauses Georges L'Enfant und französischer Adlerkopf für 750 Gelbgold. L 22,5 cm. 94.5 g.
Das Haus Georges L'Enfant stand für beste französische Handwerkskunst und war bekannt für die geschickte Kettenarbeit von Jacques L'Enfant, dem Sohn von Georges L'Enfant. Das Haus Georges L'Enfant arbeitete für viele der renommiertesten Schmuckhäuser, darunter Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, René Boivin sowie auch Hermès. Jacques entwickelte ein brillantes Verständnis für Textur, Form und Farbe und schuf unverwechselbare Kreationen.
